Human driven extinction will wipe out at least another 1.45 million species of plants and animals by the end of the twenty-first century. By the year 2100 the earth's temperature will rise by up to 11.5 degrees Fahrenheit due to overcrowding. Imagine you have two kids. Then each of your two kids have two kids, and so on and so forth. If this goes on (like it did with the human population on Earth) you would expect the environment we live in to eventually reach the tipping point, wouldn't you? Researchers believe that if the world ever reached 11 billion people, that the amount of people with food shortages will go up by 37%. The world was not occupied with a total of 1 billion people until the year 1830. After that, it only took 100 years for the second billion people to arrive. This goes to show that the Human Population can grow to 7 billion people very rapidly.
